Im Zeitraum 1970-1990 entstanden in enger Zusammenarbeit mit Fotografen und Künstlern (Ansel Adams bis Andy Warhol) großformatige Polaroids (50x60 cm). Diese entstanden mit einer eigens konstruierten Großkamera und speziellem Filmmaterial, den Polacolor Film. Bei der Filmentwicklung von Polacolor Sofortbildfilmen entstanden bei dem von Polaroid verwendeten Diffusion Transfer Process die wunderbar ästhetischen Rahmen um die Aufnahmen herum. Der Fotokünstler Franz Hümpfner montiert diese Rahmen digital um seine Blumenfotos, die dann beide zusammen eine ästhetische Einheit bilden. So entsteht in unseren Tagen die Magie von Polacolor neu. |
In the period of 1970-1990 in close collaboration with photographers and artists (Ansel Adams to Andy Warhol) large-format Polaroids (50x60 cm) were created. These were shot with a specially constructed large camera and special film footage, the Polacolor film. In film developing of Polacolor instant films, in the diffusion transfer process used by Polaroid the wonderful aesthetic frames around the pictures were generated. Photo artist Franz Huempfner mounted these frames digitally to his flower photos. Both together form an aesthetic whole. So the magic of Polacolor is recreated in our days. |
